Awakening from her deep slumber, Miu learns that Yuri has been taken back to the mountain. Shaking off Ren who tries to stop her, she takes the Camera Obscura and heads to Mt. Hikami to find the missing Yuri... and clues related to her own mother.
Location: Unveiled Palace Station
Sensing Yuri's presence moving up the mountain, Miu takes the cable car to the station in front of the Unveiled Palace. Upon attempting to exit the station, she is ambushed by hostile spirits Masayuki Tsujiura and Nao Miki.
Simply ignore them and move on.
Following the trace to the front approach of the Unveiled Palace on the deep mountain path, she spots a trace: Yuri Kozukata Heading toward Vale of Shadows. She follows her into the Vale of Shadows.

Advancing along the path to the bend connecting the entrance and the Unconsecrated Graveyard, she spots a specter inside the bushes: Girl Hidden in Shadows.
Continuing forward to the Unconsecrated Graveyard, she sees a trace: Miku Hinasaki Standing before Grave.
Following Miku's footsteps to the Lycoris Path, she finds the way blocked... On the ground, she collects Miku's Note 1.
Unfamiliar with the paths here, Miu decides to find Yuri before searching for her mother.
Returning to the terrace with cherry blossoms, she spots a specter beneath the tree: Girl Sitting down.
Continuing along the western passage, a specter stands high up in the bushes on the left: Boy Standing before Grave.
Reaching the mountain path next to the upper-left Twilit Border exit, she spots a trace near the stone Jizo statue: Yuri Kozukata Heading toward Twilit Border.
She follows her into the Twilit Border.

Upon entering, she is immediately ambushed by hostile spirits Shizuma Amaki / Koto Okudera / Yurine Udono.
After defeating them, she uses her Shadow Reading ability to follow the trace to the Casket Mound, hearing the echo of voices inside.
Stepping inside the Casket Mound, she spots a specter: Old Woman in Black Robes.
Soon after, the hostile spirit Kureha attacks.
Defeating her allows Miu to collect dropped documents: Black-Covered Notebook 2 and Water-Carved Diary 2.
Walking out to the Lake of the Beyond, she catches sight of Yuri walking directly into the water.

Miu dashes forward and pulls Yuri back from behind, suddenly triggering a Psychic Resonance of the moment Hisoka held Yuri back just before she leaped from the cliff.
As Yuri snaps out of her trance, she gazes blankly at Miu.
Miu: "Don't you dare leave me all alone either."
At that moment, the invincible black-robed wraith manifests again!
She whispers to the two: "Let us fall together in solitude."
Sensing that they stand no chance at victory for now, Miu flees back to the Unveiled Palace Station along with Yuri.

Returning to the Unveiled Palace Station,
Miu: "Let's go home, Ms. Yuri."
Yuri: "Mmh. Thank you."
Stepping into the cable car and activating it from the front, turning to look out the rear window reveals a specter: Man Pressed against Window.
Location: Inside the Cable Car
: 'How did you end up out here?'
Miu: 'Because I can see them too. Perhaps even more clearly than you can...'
Yuri: 'Is it scary, seeing things that others cannot?'
Miu: 'I have nothing left to lose, so I'm not afraid of anything.'
Yuri: 'That's not true. You must be afraid, too. Afraid of being left entirely behind by yourself.'
