The successfully rescued Haruka Momose disappeared once again, lured away by Fuyuhi's phantom.
Another girl mentioned in the missing person files—"Miu Hinasaki." It's said she went to Mt. Hikami alone to search for her mother.
Yuri follows Miu's path to Mt. Hikami using her token, believing she can uncover clues about Hisoka and Haruka's whereabouts there...

Yuri: 'Ms. Miu Hinasaki... the file states she went to Mt. Hikami to search for her mother. If I use this photograph as a token, I might find out where she went.'
Following the path to the Mizukago Bridge, she spots a trace to the right of the fork: Miu Hinasaki Heading Deeper Inside, and follows her into the Mizukago-mae Station.

Arriving before the station, she spots a trace: Miu Hinasaki at Station.
Chasing the trail into the station plaza, she encounters hostile spirits Masayuki Tsujiura and Mizue Fukatsu. Ignoring them and moving on saves a lot of time.
Stepping inside the ticket gate and aiming the lens left toward the cable car allows her to snap a phantom: Waiting Woman.
Stepping into the cable car yields a document: Miu's Left Note.
This note isn't very dirty; it seems it was left behind recently.
Approaching the controls and activating the panel starts the cable car toward the Unveiled Palace Station.

Exiting the station into the deep mountain path and walking toward the front of the Unveiled Palace, she spots a trace: Miu Hinasaki Entering Palace.
Yuri: 'So Miu Hinasaki is inside here.' She follows her into the Unveiled Palace.

Upon entering, she is instantly ambushed by the hostile spirit Inori Mizukago (Alive). After defeating her, Yuri opens the door forward into the Lantern Room.
Glancing toward the upper right reveals a trace stepping through a door: Miu Hinasaki Entering Gate.
Following it into the Deeply Beckoning Corridor and opening the right door to the Courtyard Corridor, she advances to the end to spot a specter: Old Woman Entering Door.
The door the old woman entered is firmly locked. Taking the left door into the Courtyard Corridor and walking to the midsection, she spots a specter in the room across the left lane: Shrine Maiden Standing in Room.
Advancing along the Courtyard Corridor and entering the disciples' room via the left door reveals a specter: Shrine Maiden Standing in Room, and she collects the document On Psychic Glances from the table.
Turning around triggers an immediate attack by the hostile spirit Inori Mizukago (Postmortem).
Returning to the Courtyard Corridor, she continues to the next corner, heading right down the stairs to the basement level of the Unveiled Palace.
Following the flooded Shore Corridor (West) to the end, she opens the right door into the Night-Spring Corridor. Turning left reveals a trace: Cowering Miu Hinasaki.
Following it to a fork, she takes the right path into the Altar Casket Hall.
Yuri senses that this ornate black box is different from the 'casket' Haruka was trapped in.
The lid of the box is tightly shut; could Miu be inside?
Photographing the box yields a Psychic Vision: Light Illuminating the Casket.
Yuri: 'Can it be opened by letting the ceiling light shine down?' Retracing her steps back to the first-floor Courtyard Corridor, she takes the door opposite the stairs into the Detached Corridor, making her way to the Casket Altar.
On the ground before the altar, she collects the document On the Immortal Flower.
Approaching the altar triggers an attack by the hostile spirit Flame Keeper.
After destroying him, she investigates the altar. Deep within is an open slot, which seemingly requires a specific item to operate.
Photographing it reveals three Psychic Visions: Shadow Standing Behind Coffin, Shadow on Small Boat, and Shadow Behind Latticed Window. Snapping photos at these three locations is necessary to unlock the altar.
Heading downstairs to the Shore Corridor (West), she takes the left door at the end into the Coffin Room, where a pale shadow stands behind the coffin. She captures the photograph: Shadow Standing Behind Coffin.
Inside the room, she collects the document The Book of the Night-Spring Taint.
Exiting through the corner door back into the Shore Corridor, she walks forward to a fork; the left side is the Boat Dock.
On the ground before the boat, she collects the document The Book of Mt. Hikami Barriers. A phantom maiden stands on the boat; she captures the photograph: Shadow on Small Boat.
Returning to the fork, she takes the right passage to the stairs, heading left to the Shore Corridor, then opens the right door into the Latticed Window Corridor. Advancing left to the end, a specter appears outside the right latticed window: Man Staring Back, and she collects the document The Book of the Night-Spring Citizens.
Gazing toward the upper-left outside the latticed window reveals the phantom maiden; she captures the photograph: Shadow Behind Latticed Window.
With all three photos successfully captured, she obtains the Mirror of Magatsuhi and Upgrade Lens: Slow. Returning to the first-floor Casket Altar and placing the Mirror of Magatsuhi onto it opens the ceiling mechanism above the casket room.
Returning to the Altar Casket Hall triggers an ambush by the hostile spirit The Caged Woman.
She wails: 'It's... too... late... The mountain's waters are defiled, the immortal flower has withered, the Night-Spring overflows...' before lunging forward.
After defeating her, Yuri opens the black box to rescue Miu.
Yuri: 'Ms. Hinasaki, let's leave this place.'
Miu: 'Who are you?'
Yuri: 'Come on.'
Miu laments: 'I came to save my mother... but I couldn't do anything. If I don't hurry, mother will disappear.'
Escorting Miu out of the Altar Casket Hall to the fork, a dark hostile spirit wearing black lilies blocks their path, repeatedly whispering: 'Let us fall together!' The camera cannot damage her... so they quickly flee into the Cleansing Hall to evade her pursuit.
Inside the Cleansing Hall, the hostile spirit Paladin Maiden attacks. Defeating her allows them to slip out the opposite side, where the black-robed spirit immediately ambushes them again. Dashing left along the path to the end, they open the right door, rush up the stairs to the first floor, and bolt toward the grand entrance, escaping the Unveiled Palace entirely.

Yuri: 'Let's head down. This mountain is highly dangerous.'
Upon reaching the station, they find the power out! Likely caused by a lightning strike, they must locate the main breaker. Passing the ticket gate, they step into the Control Room ahead.
Approaching the control console, a specter appears outside the window: Tall Woman.
Soon after, hostile spirits Shino Kanamoki and Tomoki Harukawa ambush them.
After defeating them, she toggles the main breaker on the console, restoring power, allowing them to activate the cable car.

Miu: 'I was supposed to save my mother, but I couldn't do a thing. What am I supposed to do?'
Suddenly, a crack of thunder strikes, and the cable car loses power, grinding to a halt... Yuri forces the door open, stepping out onto the tracks with Miu.
Heading down into the passage by the exit of the Hikami Tunnel, the specter Tall Woman stands in the woods to the right. Continuing forward, they enter the New Exit of the Hikami Tunnel.

Advancing down the stairs and checking the phone booth to the right reveals the hostile spirit Shizuku Mizukago. She does not attack, so ignoring her is best.
Reaching the tunnel entrance and gathering items near the car triggers an attack by the hostile spirit Hiromichi Kashima.
Entering the tunnel and following the tracks to the iron gate leads into the next section. Advancing forward, an ambush triggers on the right by spirits Akira Oonuma, Mizue Fukatsu, and Tadata Koizumi.
Further back, she collects the document Landslide Accident Record.
Advancing further along the path yields a Casket Woman encounter, and right before exiting the tunnel, they encounter Hiromichi Kashima once more. They successfully return to the third-floor viewing deck of Ichiru Manor.

Miu: 'Next time, I will definitely save my mother.'

Miu tosses in a nightmare on her bed while Yuri stays by her side.
Ren Hojo walks in and notes: 'I still haven't been able to reach Miu's family. I'll try contacting them again tomorrow.'
Miu repeatedly talks in her sleep, insisting she must go back to save her mother.
Just then, Rui steps inside and says: 'Master, could you come here for a moment?'
Ren follows Rui and exits the room.
Miu's inner voice echoes: 'To become a wonderful actress? I have nothing inside me, I'm just an empty shell. So it doesn't matter what I become. No matter what they tell me to do, I'll do it. After all, I know exactly what everyone is thinking anyway. It's so boring, everything is a web of lies. Besides, lying only makes the hurt deeper, doesn't it? What a bunch of fools.'
Suddenly, Miu's memory shifts into Yuri's own memories. Ever since her tragic accident, all of Yuri's relatives were gone, leaving her entirely alone. From then on, she gained the curse of seeing phantoms, but she never wanted to see them, nor did she want to know their stories. Unable to bear it any longer, she attempted suicide, only to be saved by Hisoka.
Yuri suddenly snaps back to reality, realizing her hand is firmly gripped by Miu.
Miu opens her eyes and glares at Yuri: 'Don't look into me without permission. Disgusting.'
Miu then drifts back into a deep slumber...
