He continuously watches the CCTV monitors once more, until static noise bursts onto the screen displaying Yuri's room...
Heading to Yuri's room on the second floor to check on her, he is ambushed by the hostile spirit Fuyuhi Himino.
Defeating her yields the document Yuri's Notebook 1 from the table.
Soon after, a specter can be seen on the floor near the desk: Man Lurking in Shadows.
After checking Yuri's state on the bed, specters can be seen outside the window: Man Standing in Hallway and Plummeting Woman.
Heading into Hisoka's room, he uncovers the document The Shrine Maiden Legend and Perceptions of Women from the bookshelf, and The Postmortem Marriage Ritual from the desk.
Walking to the doorway, preparing to leave the room, a specter appears inside the corner mirror: Man in the Mirror.
Returning to the office to continue monitoring the CCTV, he sees Haruka Momose sitting on the bed in the First Storeroom. After the monitors loop a few times, a prompt appears to check on Miu's condition.
Heading first to the First Storeroom where he just saw Haruka, he collects the document Damp Note from the bed.
Going to the second floor where Miu is resting in the Second Storeroom, he catches a specter opening the door to enter at the entranceway: Peeping Woman.
Stepping inside yields the document Legends of Mt. Hikami and the Sunset from a drawer next to the door. After checking on Miu resting on the bed and confirming she is safe, he heads back downstairs to the office.
The moment he steps into the office, the television turns on by itself! Investigating it summons the hostile spirit Haruka Momose.
After defeating her, he continues monitoring the CCTV and spots spiritual entities manifesting in the shop area.
Heading into the shop area to exterminate the minor hostile spirits and returning to the office to watch the monitors, he sees a hostile spirit enter Yuri's room just as the screen goes completely dark! At that exact moment, the previously slumbering Rui has vanished as well!
Arriving before Yuri's room on the second floor, he witnesses Rui stepping into Yuri's room.
Ren forces the door open to enter the room, only to step inside the Watarai Residence within the Veiled House.

Following him into the first-floor corridor reveals a specter on the floor: Dragged Man.
Advancing along the path and opening the door to the back staircase, he sees Rui ascending the stairs. He collects the dropped document: Rui's Diary 4.
Ascending to the second floor and opening the door to the Library reveals a specter: Shadow Standing in Darkness.
Stepping into the study, he sees Rui walking into the Storage Room. He steps inside and grabs Rui, only to snap back to reality and find himself inside the office. The entire sequence was a dream...
Investigating the CCTV logs reveals that Rui was led away by Haruka Momose, Yuri was led away by Fuyuhi Himino, and Miu has finally awakened.
Ren steps out of the office and runs into Miu, who is preparing to head out.
Ren: 'Are you alright now?'
Miu: 'I knew it... I have to go back to the mountain. Will you take me there?'
Ren: 'Don't talk nonsense, it's far too dangerous.'
Miu: 'I see. Thank you for taking care of me.'
Miu then begins walking toward the exit...
