Phase V

—— Twin Faces ——

2F: Room 207 Ranzuki

After narrowly defeating the spirit Ayako, Misaki feels a deep wave of anxiety; she must locate the missing Madoka as soon as possible...

On the bed, Misaki retrieves a file detailing a cruel mindset: Ayako's Note.

As she prepares to open the door to return to the corridor, she finds the door tightly sealed by a powerful force. Turning around, she notices the Ghost: Girl Staring at Misaki watching her with vacant eyes from the dark corner at the foot of the bed.

2F: Room with Canopy Bed

Heading to the corner where the ghost stood, Misaki opens the small door on the wall and ducks into this eerie room with a canopy bed.

On the bed, she finds the file Torn Note. Attempting to open the door on the other side, she finds it also sealed by a powerful energy.
Photographing the sealed door with the Camera Obscura reveals a clue image for the puzzle: Stuffed Doll.

Returning to Room 207, 'Ranzuki', in the shadow of the bookshelf behind the screen, Misaki successfully finds the doll stuffed carelessly from the photo. Investigating it yields the Rusty Key.

Returning once more to the room with the canopy bed, she uses the rusty key to unlock the other door.
The moment the door opens, the spirit Ayako lunges again with intense malice! After completely purifying her, Misaki finally gains entry to the hidden room.

2F: Hidden Room

Inside the hidden room, on the messy bed, she retrieves the critical Film Reel, the clue image Screening Scene, and the files Rogetsu Kagura Video Record and Black Notebook 2.

Looking at the film reel and the screening photo, the projector in the first-floor dining room flashes across Misaki's mind... Perhaps playing the reel there will provide answers.

Turning her gaze to the stacked wooden boxes on the right, she captures the terrifying Bound Ghost: Head Specimen in the Surgery Room.

After investigating, she leaves through the door on the other side of the room, successfully returning to the second-floor elevator lobby.

2F: Balcony

Before entering the corridor, there is a door on the left leading to the second-floor balcony. Walking to the end of the balcony and photographing the base of the streetlamp by the pool below captures a residual shadow of past calamity: Bound Ghost: Patients Blooming Gradualy.

Turning back and going downstairs to the first-floor elevator lobby, she proceeds forward into the Reizuki Dining Room.

At that exact moment, the spirit-possessed Madoka appears with a piercing shriek and launches an attack!

With a heavy heart, Misaki defeats her and retrieves the file Madoka's Note 6.

The words on the note are filled with insecurity and despair; Madoka always believed she was merely a substitute for "that important person" in Misaki's heart. The note also prompts Misaki to return to the rooms they used to live in to find answers.

Exiting the dining room, the Ghost: Man Lurking in the Passage manifests to the left.

1F: Elevator Lobby

Returning to the elevator lobby, inside the open elevator car, the guiding Ghost: Girl in the Elevator appears.

She then opens the door opposite the second-floor nurse's station to enter the ward corridor.

Following the path, the Ghost: Woman in the Corridor appears ahead. Afterward, Misaki enters the room Madoka lived in: Room 203, 'Hozuki'.

On the cabinet at the foot of the bed in the bedroom, she retrieves the files Torn Diary and the nostalgic Photograph of the Girls.

♦ ♦ ♦

2F: Room 206 Ketsuki

Returning to the corridor, she proceeds to Room 206, 'Ketsuki'. Shifting her gaze to under the table in the corner at the foot of the bed, she photographs the Bound Ghost: Crouching Boy.

Returning to the corridor again, she goes to the end to enter Room 207, 'Ranzuki', and follows the path back to the elevator lobby. Investigating the elevator to activate it, she takes it to the third floor and enters the nurse's station on the left.

♦ ♦ ♦

3F: Nurse's Station Shinku

In the left cabinet, she retrieves the tape recorder and the audio tape Tape 'Consultation Record: Misaki Aso'. Listening to her own childhood consultation recording, Ruka then heads to the corridor through the other door.

♦ ♦ ♦

3F: Ward Corridor

Reaching the end of the corridor, to the right is Ruka's former room—Room 310, 'Kamisari', but the door is locked.

Photographing the door reveals the clue image Red Wheelchair, suggesting that the key to open the door is hidden in Tsukiko Chigando's special ward.

Walking back toward the elevator lobby, she briefly glimpses the residual images of Ghost: Running Girls.

3F: Elevator Lobby

Returning to the elevator lobby, she sees the Ghost: Girls Heading Somewhere running into the special ward corridor to the left of the stairs.

Moving forward and opening the door to the special ward, she sees Ghost: Girls Peeking into the Room curiously and fearfully peering inside.

♦ ♦ ♦

3F: Room 311 Kamikayutsuki

Entering the room, she investigates the red wheelchair and successfully retrieves the Key to Kamisari.

Entering the coffin room behind the red curtain in the upper left, she investigates the several coffins standing by the wall, obtaining the unsettling files Tsukiko Chigando's Letter 1 and Tsukiko Chigando's Letter 2.

Just as she intends to open the door and leave, she finds the door is locked tight! Turning around, the Ghost: Standing Woman in Black is standing beside the red wheelchair.

Immediately after, the coffin lid beside the wheelchair slowly pushes open, and the doll spirit "Me" lunges out and attacks!

After defeating her, she retrieves the file Tsukiko Chigando's Suicide Note from inside the coffin, and the room door unlocks.

Following the path back to Room 310, 'Kamisari', she uses the key to open and enter.

3F: Room 310 Kamisari

Entering her childhood room, on the cabinet in the depths, she retrieves the sealed file Old Research Book.

On the small cabinet by the bed, she discovers a craft box with a missing piece and a koi pattern, and obtains the file Medical Record: Misaki Aso 1.

The moment she touches the medical record, the painful memory of being forced to undergo cruel treatment as a child rushes to her heart...
